About
NetSMM 2026 marks the ninth edition of the Workshop on Network and System Management and Monitoring (NetSMM). Over the years, NetSMM has established itself as a distinguished forum for researchers, academics, and professionals to present and discuss state-of-the-art methodologies, techniques, tools, and practical experiences that contribute to the advancement of network and system management and monitoring in next-generation environments. Continuing the broader perspective introduced in previous editions, the workshop places particular emphasis on the integration of network and system management, fostering the exchange of knowledge between completed projects, ongoing research, and emerging ideas. NetSMM welcomes submissions that range from consolidated studies to innovative early-stage approaches that bring new insights to the field.
The 9th edition of NetSMM will be held as an official workshop of the 40th International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA 2026), a well-established international forum that attracts leading researchers and practitioners in networking, distributed systems, and related domains. This joint setting provides an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange, collaboration, and community building at the highest level. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings of the Lecture Notes in Data Engineering and Communication Technologies (LNDECT) series published by Springer, and will be indexed in EI Compendex and Scopus.
